I have a 94 3000gt, and i am putting in a audiovox APS-996. Do I have to disable the factory alarm so they they both don't arm together. The stosk alarm is supposed to arm on lock and unarm with unlock, is the arm and disarm wire the one at the lock cylinder? I was thinking to cut the arm wire at the door locks to prevent the factory alarm from evr arming. If anybody has any ideas I would appreciate the help.

Would I be able to permanently disable the factory alarm if I cut the arm wire at the lock cylinder? The thing I'm confused about is that in draasch's post there is no arm wire, but there is a disarm wire, Is it the same wire to arm and disarm? or am I missing something.

thanks for the help
