yeah, but dont you need a light flash input? by looking at the picture, where would the WHITE/ red wire go to? or would you cut the RED / black wire and connect one end to the white to RED / black and the other end to the WHITE/ red to the RED / black?

the light flash input should be connected to 12v constant for (+) and chassis for (-)

for a 99 honda civic ex, would you need to use relays or can you just hook up the wire from the alarm to the  unlock/lock wire?

No need for relays. You can go straight from the unit to the OEM wires

wonderful, i have a question about an extra accessory output the RED / white output.  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/uploads/clifford2.jpg i wanted to set it up with the fuel pump wire. i wanted to find a way to wire it [probably with a relay] so when the car is armed, it kills the power to the fuel pump.

Use the ORANGE wire and wire it up like this relay: Use a constant 12 volts and fuse at 20 amps

i also bought a DEI battery backup siren. it has a red, black, violet, and green.  from what i understood so far, the red goes to 12V, black to ground, green to (-) door trigger and violet dont use?

the violet for positive door trigger...you should have a neg door trigger...you dont need the violet wire

thanks. and for all you pros who install alarms daily, how should i do the wiring, get some wire taps or splice the wire and solder? thanks

splice in strip the wire back take and poke a hole in the wire and strip the wire off and put it through the hole and twist it around and then solder and tape I use a zip tie over the tape99 Honda Civic 2dr EX alarm - Page 3 -- posted image.
