i picked the audiobahn subs because they are 400 watts rms which is perfect for the amp i picked. and also because the mounting depth is only 5 inches. keep in mind im working in a regular cap truck. so space is an issue. so if i knew how deep the jl's were that would help alot. and do you have any experience with audiobahn or are you just saying this about them. has anyone heard audiobahn? how do they rate?

another thing about the audiobahn subs is that they run 55 dollars. thats pretty cheap if you ask me for the power they say they put out.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with Jimmy.  Cheap subs usually have cheap sound.  Do you have a Frye's Electronics nearby- I think I've seen some Audiobahn gear there before.  If so, give them a listen.  They won't tell you what they'll sound like in your car, but you can get an idea whether or not it'll be worth it to you or not.  In the end, it's your decision, so if you're happy, that's all that matters.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

As a dealer of these subs, they actually can sound pretty darn good, just make sure to match the subs to the proper box, use the right amp set up properly and do not abuse them and they will do a good job for you. Would they be my first choice, probably not, but it does not mean that they are no good.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
