There have been alot of threads started in the past couple of months in regards to LCD or 2 way alarm, remote start and combo units. Please take this opportunity to vote on the system that you have had the best performance, reliability, installation time as well as other pro's and con's and list them in your response so that other member's can see what is available out on the market. Thanks and Shiver Git !!! Which 2 Way Systems / LCD Systems? -- posted image.

BTW: This IS NOT a thread for anyone to start bashing other companies. If you had bad luck with one certain company please do not use this thread to vent your frustrations. ONLY the systems you would suggest to other member's are to be posted with pro's and con's on that system .

The new DEI products are an installers dream with limited amout of relays (they magically put all the remote start relays into this little box). And the programming is very understandable.

Is the viper 790 a new 2004 model with issues or is it solid older model?

i've been selling the DEI 2 ways since they were made and havent had one yet with range issues or problems... i'd recommend them to anyone... i do prefer the true Responder units to the AM 2way units by  Hornet/Valet/Avital  BTW

I install DEI everyday i work and dont really have any probs. the ONLY REAL prob is the 4200s have faulty antennas. They come with an HFplus antenna and they RARELY work more than 50 feet. sometimes even less. So we stocked up on the XHF antennas and they never come back with range issues. Alot of installers have programming issues as well, i have not had any probs at all. especially using the bitwriter. The new relay packs are great, but sketchy at the same time, i have yet to have one fail. The new RSX 3.5 remotes seem to be much more reliable than the older RS3 remotes. So all in all im in huge favor of DEI as there really isnt too many probs. The only other brand we install is Black Widow ....................nuff said there
