Did a 1WAMS in a 98 Cherokee. Hooked the Blue (2nd Accessory in this case) off the 1WAMS module to the BLACK/ white on the Jeep. Now the guy claims that after the remote starter was installed the air bag light came on a week later. I saw that the jumper for the 2nd output was on Igniton and not Accessory. Could putting 12 volts to the BLACK/ white (2nd accessory) during crank turn the air bag light on? Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

if it was the install it would have come on right away. there is no way for the accessory wire to trip an airbag light . electronics go bad all the time he just doesnt want to pay to get it diagnosed and fixed.

Watch out though because dealership mechanics have nothing better to say than it was the remote starter that caused the problem. They won't even look at the Jeep and tell you that it was the remote starter and when they start probing into the problem it usually isn't the RS that caused it in the first place. Just warning you that the dealership will take an easy out for the problem and try to make you look bad. I agree with Joe, if it was the RS that tripped the light, it would have done so immediately after your first attempt.
