How to install head unit

I have a jVC kd-s5050 head unit in my acura legend 94.

i just bought a sony xplod cdx-m600.

i dont want to pay some guy to install it.

HOw do i install it?

yank the stock HU out. Wire it using the12volt color codes for your specific vehicle. Put it back in.
Head Unit:Pioneer-Deh-1600
Fronts:Kicker 6x8 S57's
Front Amp:Coustic PowerLogic Amp460
Rear Fill:Stock 6x8's
Subs: 2 10" JL Audio W3's
Sub Amp: JBL bp600.1
Wiring: KnuKonceptz

Since you already have an after-market HU in your car, you should be able to swap it fairly easily.  If this is a stock HU, get the proper wiring harness adapter for your car before you begin.  Metra 70-1720 and the dash kit if you need it is (I believe) 99-7892.

yah it is an after market HU.  SO i just swap the wires and harness?

Do you know the jvc kd-s5050?

cuz on the back of the sony xplod i looked theres more out puts than the jvc

Yes, you can simply swap the important wires like: +12V battery; Switched +12V; speakers (shuld be eight wires for four speakers); Remote turn-on; ground.  That will allow the HU to function.  Before you begin, pull the positive battery cable off your battery.  If there are RCA connections, these are also easily swapped.

man look, cheagreen said as simple as possible. i've seeen posts on here that you've written an it seems like u never get an anwser to anything . take out the deck an wire the new one like the old one is wired. it's simple, don't let people confuse u with tec talk. no offense anyone:)

also on the new deck the rcas  should subwoffer on one set of the rcs on them.
