a good shop should be able to install the whole thing in a day. as far as your question about the 3.5, I can't say for certain. i bought all of mine at one time so i had the biggest, baddest, fastest, most... your local clifford dealer should be able to answer that question.
TeamRF, what did you mean about the retail thing and being out of the question? I'm a little bit lost.

he meant...most retail shops won't do a remote start on a manual tranny b/c of liability.
if its jammed force it - if it breaks in the process it needed to be fixed anyway

Autostart also makes a full line of manual tranny remote starters, if im not mistaken, they were the first legally.  But i may be wrong.
