Sub Selection

Thats a nice ride man. The only experience I have with them is I was talking to one of my friends who is an alpine dealer in town and he said that even though the w7, ehich he also sells, is more money, it is well worth the extra money to buy it. The type X got a big thumbs down from him and he likes alpine. For what its worth I say a test where it did a side by side test for spl and power handling using the 13.5 w7, the 12 inch Solobaric L7 and the 9500 and the 9500 absolutly curb stomped the hell outta the other 2. It wasnt even close. They used a big 4000 watt crown amp and measured the voltage going into the drivers and the W7 capped at about 108 volts were as the 9500 took the full 140 volts the amp could produce and still held composure and linear movement. I cant rember the exact number for the L7 but it was like 103 or something to that effect. I like the car though man. Very nice.double-secret reverse-osmosis speaker-cone-induced high-level interference distortion, Its a killer

Thanks for the compliment Ravendarat. He will be building a custom enclosure soon, so I will tell him again to go with the 9500. He wants to "top me"  I don't mind. There is always someone out there who has something Bigger and Badder. Know what I mean?boom, boom, boom boom....
