Hey, if I don't use the relay, can I use it as my trunk release relay???

I have done two of these and I cut that relay off and use the blue and green wires to trigger a set of relays and then use the relays to lock and unlock the doors.  I tried it without the relays the first time and it did work.

Is it a special relay? it looks a bit more advanced. Any one know how to limit the amount of time it cranks before giving up.

I have two questions, Today i pushed the 4 buttons on the remote at once (to set the vibration and illumnation). I tried to press the trunk button and  on the lcd it cycled through trunk/hood/both. What is this feature?

Also i bought a mini interior siren, can i just tap it to my regular siren. I plan to upgrade my original siren as well, Is there any thing special about the stock one?

i don't get it? I got scared so i kept it in the programming mode, and pulled the battery so it won't register. I didn't change any of the settings so i should be good.

If you had a BitWriter you could take care of all your programming needs very easily. Will work on my different DEI systems for under $100. Counting chirps is for the birds!
