In Alpines project Mini Cooper V2 they mention something about electoluminescent strips or something (you can see it glowing in places on the dash). Has any of ya'll heard of or used this stuff ??

It's a power neon striping. I think Farad makes it and can be purchased online or at a specialty shop.

beeing seen makes some good kits.
EL lighting does work really well but is not as bright as neon or LEDs. it is a dull glow. it is a very consistant glow over the entire piece and can be cut in almost any shape. just make sure you get the 12 volt power supply. it is pretty small and you have to do all the wiring to the EL sheet if you get it from beingseen. but you can call up and talk to ED if you have any questions. he will walk you thru it.
there are other places to get it from that are a little cheaper, but some have big as# transformers or limitations with the wiring.
