Here's another one.  I just noticed this one is on sale.  It is a decent amp for a great price considering sounddomain is a reputable dealer.

Mono will be fine.  Here's the thing:  You'd have to pay a lot more to buy a two channel amp and actually run it in stereo mode.  Bridging a 2-channel amp is gonna be the same damn thing to the subs as going mono.  The only difference is that I can't name a cheap 2-channel amp that can be bridged stable at 2-ohms.  So, if you feel you MUST go with a 2-channel amp to run both subs you either:

1)  Run the 2-channel is stereo mode.  You'll need an amp that can push 150x2 at 4 ohms.  This is simply out of your price range for decent brands.

2)  Bridge the amp and watch it overheat.  Good luck.
3)  Buy a very cheap brand 2-channel amp that claims to push over 150x2 for under $150.  It will probably break or push nowhere close to that amount of power.  Again, good luck.

Now, if you go with a mono amp like we've been suggesting that is 2-ohm stable you can buy that decent $150 amp I just posted.  That one is 375x1 @ 2 ohms.

I love manuals, I think that I should write my own. The problems with manuals is that the human mind is trained to believe what they read. Thus if your manual says this...

"how exactly are they fine when it has its own CAUTION paper included with the subs saying NOT to... IT SAIS DO NOT...

DO .... NOT..."

On the last page I could add " Now once it is installed, go and drive the car off of a bridge" If this was infact written in your manual, would you believe it?

Two 4 ohm svc subs wired in parallel = 2 ohm mono. Just like the picture I showed you earlier. Now then, just in case you are someone who is yanking our chains over this, enough is enough. This question has been asked and answered many times by many industry veterans. Should you choose to not listen to these people that is fine, should you choose to listen to us that is fine as well. But move onto another topic please. This dead horse has been beat to death.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

Check out this site:  http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/S-1ARVfrlm2yc/learningcenter/car/amplifiers_install_steps.html

It contains easy instructions with pictures and even a step-by-step video.

I also HIGHLY recommend reading http://www.bcae1.com/installationprimer.htm and other articles on amplifiers at that site.  http://www.bcae1.com/

Here is how to wire two 4 ohm subs in a parallel circuit. This wire method will be used if you purchase a mono sub amplifier that is designed to operate at 2 or 1 ohms.

Like was recommended above, an amplifier with between 300 - 500 w rms @ 12volts at 2 ohms mono would be a good amplifier. Here are some to consider, there is many more. Look at these two and then you can get an idea of what you might need.

Concept CA525m     www.conceptconcept.com

Lightning Audio B2.350.1      www.lightningaudio.com

so for this... i take one sub, wire it into the inputs on the other sub... then on that sub, put those two wires in the inputs and wire them to the amp normally... is that correct?

Yes.

Positive from amp to positive on sub 1, positive on sub 1 to positive on sub 2.
Negative from amp to negative on sub 1, negative on sub 1 to negative on sub 2.
