I have to echo everyone's opinions here.  One sub is enough.  Sure, when I had my larger box with 2 12" MTX drivers it could get slightly deeper and louder than my single 10" now.  However, the new subs takes up less room, draws less power, has better quality sound, and gets as loud as I need it to get.  I don't think I'll ever go back to a 2-subwoofer configuration.

i only bought 1 10" as well, i dont see any reason why i need huge SPL numbers, coming from tens. if i want SPL later i'll pick up a 12 i was thinking 2, but again i dont need 2, its just typical to see it.

When some hip-hop machine with 22 18" subs blended nicely with a pair of 4" mids and 1" tweeters......comes up behind me and all I hear is BOOM BOOM BOOM......da BOOM BOOM BOOM, I feel at that moment as if I had died and gone to hell in my sleep. I hate it.

But some fine bass to go with everything else is just total ear candy.  One sub it shall be.

My two cents....

Nothing wrong with SPL (2 x 12's or 10's) as long as the system as a whole is balanced & tuned properly, not over powered with Bass.

Personaly im all about the BOOM BOOM BOOM. If I only had one sub it would have to be a 15" or a 18". I cant imagine having only one 10" lol.
