Hello,
I need assistance with reaching the ignition, starter, and other wires that are in the ignition harness. I believe that they come out right above the steering column, but I can’t just attach the alarm wires directly because there is so much other stuff in the way. I’m sure I will have to unbolt something’s, but I would like to unbolt as few things as I can.
Thanks,
Thomas

Okay I got lower dash off, and I see a grouping of wires coming out on the bottom of the steering colum. There is a large white plug with some wires coming out of it, but none that are the const 12v. I also see a few wires, a little heavier gauge, on coming out on the top. I think the ones on the top are what I need.
If you would like I can send you some images of what Im looking at. I can't post them because they are bigger that 30kbs.
P.S. if im testing to make sure I have the starter and igniton wire when will I get a volt reading on each of those wires.

Thank you,
Let me see if I have this correctly.
The ignition key has voltage on it when the key is turned to start, and keeps the voltage until the car is turned off.
Does the accessory wire lose the voltage when the car is turned on. I found a wire that I think is the accessory wire, and it has voltage when the key is set to acc, and it when the car is on it doesn't have any voltage on it.
Does the starter wire mantain voltage when the car is on, or just when the car is starting?

Not sure what U R installing:
I posted the colors.  There R 2 Ignition wires ....  Pink #1 & Orange #2
Accessory is Brown.
Ignition will show 12 volts as the key is turned to crank and stay 12 volts as it runs
Starter will show 12 volts as the Key is turned and 0 when Key is released
Accessory will show 12 volts when key is in Run position and 0 when Key is turned to crank

Im trying to install a black widow bw6150 alarm, keyless entry, and remote start. Right now im just trying to hook up the power, which i did, and the ignition + starter + accesory wires.
I know what color wires im looking for, but I don't know where they are located. I found the steering column harness, but don't know where the ignition harness is. Im getting about ready to pull out the instrument panel to get a better top view of the steering column.
Thanks so much for your help.
Thomas

U can get to the wires by Removing 2 phillips screws holding plastic panel under steering column.  Unplug bottom plugs on radio box on right side of steering column.  Remove 3 9/32 screws holding radio box.  Unplug top plugs & antenna from radio box.  Remove radio box......The wires R up on steering column
