It is automatic and the wire list/location does help me out alot thank you. but will i need a relay(s) for the door locks? the truck does not have an oem keyless entry or alarm, I don't want to get half way through the install and then find out that i need more parts.

o.k now the next question, the alarm works great however the remote start dosen't. the neutral safety wire i didn't hook up cause there wasen't enough info in the instructions. where do i hook it to? also if the grey / YELLOW wires aren't hooked up the only thing that won't work is the heater/ac correct? there were a couple of wires that were questionable on if they needed to be hooked or not but i can't remember off the top of my head what color they were. will find out today what they are and post. right now just need help with the grey / YELLOW and the blue/white(neutral safety wire from the cdontrolo moduel.

is the truck an automatic????
if so the blue/white needs to be grounded....
are you talking about the grey / YELLOW in the truck????
if i were you, i would hook them up.....it wont take that long and it kinda defeats the purpose of installing the remote start if you dont use the wires.....
Good Luck

It is an automatic, in the wire guide was posted earlier in this string stated neutral safety wire connected to a non grounding type the oem switch opens the starter circuit. yes the grey / YELLOW is in the truck at the ignition switch harness. but will it prevent the truck to start remotely? from what i remember off the install instructions is that a relay would be needed for the ignition#2/3(grey / YELLOW wires), but no diagram for hooking it up.

you dont have to hook up the grey / YELLOW...ypou just wont have that feature working...no a/c or heat
the other wire is that the truck doesnt start in gear.....you wont have to worry abot that....ground that wire...
Good Luck
