deck wont come out?

I was tryin to get the stock deck out of my boss's 1995 ford f250 powerstroke. but it wont come out. i put the DIN tools in and took part of the dash off to pull on it but it wont move. is there some bolts or something in there holding it or what? pictures would help me too if you have any. thanks

Just take a hammer and bash the damn thing out..that's my suggestion.

if it has the din tool you need to put them in and push them outward of each other this should pop the clips holding it in

actually i just made the DIN tools with some wire.
Audiobass10, i was just about to the point(since the stupid deck doesnt work anyway), but i didnt think my boss would like that too much.

get the real tools and hope you didnt spring the clips.  if this dont work buy a hacksaw

yeah Ive done the wire way before, gotten it to work once, however Ive tried it about 20 other times with no luck, I would recommend going to walmart and buying the ford radio removal keys, in a family of 5 fords this has been the best $3 I have ever spent, they work so much better than the clothes hanger.

I never have used those keys...I have four of the smaller Precision scredrivers and I use them...The beveled head makes it easy to get behind the locks...Just my opinion..

Buy the keys though..Would be a good idea

The proper keys will give you less headaches. But, make sure that your key is not going around the clip and make sure that you stop when you feel some pressure on the wire. Then pull outward on the wire and pull using the tape deck, hopefully you have this.
