Yes, you can run the RCA, remote turn-on and speaker wires together.  The remote turn-on doesn't carry enough current to produce engine noise.

yea, but if you are already in the process of running wires and if it isn't much more work, you might as well run the remote wire along the power wire. Can never be too careful, ya know. lol. Besides, if the power and speaker connections are on opposite ends of the amp, depending on your install, you may want the power and remote wires running in from the same way. Just a thought. Not trying to contradict or anything as raydawg is right - not enough current, but like I say, can never be too careful.

I would tap into the switched power from your radio.  On some vehicles, the cigarette lighter is 12V constant and not switched

You would want to tap into the switched power, don't put a toggle on a line that always has power like your lighter. If you did this, you'd have to remember to switch your toggle 'off' every time you left you car, or your batt would die. Is your remote wire any good further in your dash somewhere? It's ideal

well my stero has to manually turned off each time as well.i had to rig that to lolpontiac with all the steeringwheel controls and i had to cut all the wires from the factory deck and go from there.for the deck ihave my solid yellow and red goin to the red for the battery.if i run a wire into these for a power for the toggle would the toggle then turn off as when i turned off the stero?my decks in ruff shape kinda lol its a pioneer dph 4500.i think some of the soders inside the deck are bad as the left channels dont work and my rcas for the low output make the stero cut out as well.im suppose if i get the ignition wire tied into my solid yellow and red would power the stero with the ignition on n off?what else would be some good sources of power? where do i find the switched power and how would i hook that up as i said above i turn it off manually everytime lol? help help my cars torn apart and waiting for its bandaids

well my first recommendation would be buy a new deck, but if you can't do that...

Did you run your yellow remote wire for this deck directly to the battery because you couldn't find the remote wire you cut from the factory deck? I just didn't quite understand what you meant.

Are these wires directly from your battery to your deck fused in line?

If you get the ignition wire, you need to hook up the yellow (remote) wire only to this. The red (power) wire can go directly to your battery, with a fuse.

ahhh ok i see what your sayin yes the red wire from the deck has a fuse and is goin to the red battery aka power wire and i put the yellow wire into that as well .so its like a 2 in 1 deal the 2 wires from the back of the deck and spliced into the red power from the dash.so if i figure what the igition wire was from the old factory deck i just hook up the remote yellow wire from the deck to this?
