phoenix gold's core focus has always been amplification.  Some of the circuit topology they use results in the most musically robust amps in the world.

as a pg dealer, some of their sub models have had some shortcomings.  the titanium model had a problem with tinsel leads and the initial run of xenon subs had adhesive failures on cosmetic pieces such as dust caps.

unfortunately, as have most manufacturers, pg has run into some production problems, but what really counts has been phoenix gold's steadfast support of all its products.

the octane amps are good, but if you want a superb sound quality power amp check out the new xenon series.

MECP certified, 5yrs experience, you probably otta listen bitch!!

PG sucks?? That's quite a loaded statement.
I on the other hand think that PG makes some of the best amps on the market.
Now it is true that the new Xenon amps do have some problems, and I myself have toasted two of them, but that dosen't mean that all of their amps suck. Remember, the Xenons are made in China, and the rest are USA made.
Personally, the TI amps are some of the best money can buy. And let's not forget the Franken-amp and the MPH10K.
