jeff,

did you say you're hooking all of those speakers to the same amp?

Sounds like a plan, Jeff.  I suggest there's no need for a box, just use double-back tape to mount those bad boys right to the headliner so the pimp-azz chrome will bling your ride...

i thought my idea would work better, using a ported size box and sealing the box with a 1/4" plywood with some weatherstripping for around doors, and finding a very efficent hot glue gun to seal in the extra holes. and maybe some finishing nails, just to be safe.
but i've also heard dyohns tactic with the duct tape, mounting it to the head liner. dyohn, would you use 2 or 3 strips of tape for each sub? i heard 2 would work and give more rattle against the metal when you pump 15watts in it from a home stereo.
btw, if you get turtle wax and emery paper/cloth you can really give those baskets a super shine. i heard this from a guy with 4audiobahns in a infinite baffle setup in his 86hatchback missing the window from the rear. he had the loudest car i've heard. but his stereo really muffled the engine noise once he hooked up the grounds directly to the brake discs on the front of his car. god if metal ever needed more noise-distortion, his car was the perfect piece.
jeff i suggest you sell those eclipses and look at those new square subs from pyramid i hear they will blow stuff apart, they look amazingly unique and i bet they would hit so much lower.

Yea, the emory cloth trick works great especially if followed by three or four coats of Armor All.  Also use WD-40 to make those surrounds shine!

Ground to brakes.  Lol.  That one HAS to be true.

Wow, jeff If you wanna quite pissing around and bea  true pimp you need to cut a whole in the roof and invert a 32" driver so the magnet sticks out thte top and looks like a satalite dish, and no need to amp it, just run the speaker wire strait to the altenator and the altenator bracket. Thats gonna make those guys at finals run scared
double-secret reverse-osmosis speaker-cone-induced high-level interference distortion, Its a killer
