Audiobass10, what does a company buying another company have to do with anything? Are you saying that just because a previously highly respected company buys a company of questionable products, the previously respectable company becomes, in and of themselves, questionable? The fact that Dual may or may not have bought Jensen (or the other way around) tells me nothing. Dual was a fine company, back in the day; they just happen to be pretty crappy now, all of their own accord. It matters not who owns them.
I guess anybody that owns a Jaguar, you'd better get rid of IT, cause Ford builds such WONDERFUL cars... (Please note the dripping sarcasm...)
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

hey hempphest

ownership can and does have a lot to do with the quality of item a manufacturer produces. as dyohn said, dual changed hands at the corporate level and fell off the radar.

usually it goes the other way around though.  typically corporation try to acquire brands simply for that, the brand name. i.e. rockford corp acquiring mb quart and qlogic, and dei buying out orion and dei.  sometimes daily operations at the newly acquired business will experience minimal change, other times, the production facilities are shut down alltogethor or moved and all that remains of the brand is the name itself

MECP certified, 5yrs experience, you probably otta listen bitch!!
