IrishDoc, that looks interesting.. Would you be willing to provide some screenshots of the software? Does it include detailed pictures or is it just a diagram (text).. I'd definately be willing to shell out $20 if it was good.

The website is in the warranty folder I think- Heck its been 3 yrs I 've been using it- have it bookmarked-here it is

You have to have an ID and Password supplied by your dealer you buy the kits from- I have used the same dealer for 4 or 5 yrs- and he gave it to me a long time ago- works great

that made it seems like youre installing as an individual that needs "diagrams for dummies" ,rather than a professional installer that works at a shop. although installogy has pictures and chits, thats the most detail ive seen. DEI's schematics, are found everywhere on this board if youre to search, are detail already. sometime comom sense have to kick in and for the most part, experience (maybe a lil trial and error).

I never said to give it away free. I would pay $10 for a very detailed diagram with pictures everytime I did a remote start. Maybe someone will think of that!

You ask your dealer- the guy you bought it from- I buy everything I install on the internet- all modules, all remote starters, all diodes, all relays. etc. - And my dealer gave me the info about 5 yrs ago and I have been using it ever since.  If your dealer says he doesn't have it - go to another dealer- or ask crimestopper for your dealers ID and password.  Each dealer has his own ID and password as far I as I can tell.......good luck!!

Each new unit out of the box has a different serial number. Access the techweb and then enter in the serial number off the sticker on your unit. The User ID and pass is in the install manual I believe. You can then utilize your 3 views per serial# like Brcidd said. If you don't happen to need to access the Techweb for a particular install just jot down the serial# and use it at a later date.
