Check the vats bypass.  It sounds like the remote start is not sending a ground to the relay that bypasses the vats system.  It could be as simple as reprogramming the remote starter.

ok, so how do we program it, and which relay(what wire colors) is the vats bypass relay? there are 2 relays under the dash for the system.

player69, I know that the CS units do not have a automatic tach learning , I was implying that  he should  try to re-program the tach signal as his error on the diagnostics say that it is his tach lockout has been engaged because of a faulty tach signal or the tach has not been programmed properly.

What color is your tach wire that you have the CS2400 attached to ?

ok, we don't have a wiring diagram(colors) or anything loke that. no program stuff either. this was a used car bought with the unit already installed. it worked fine utnil a while ago. so as for what wire the tach is connected to, first tell me what color wire the tach signal wire is on the command start. as for a small sleeve, i will have to look more closely for a small sleeve, but when i was searching for the output(orange) i didn't see a sleeve. there is a relay with some 12ga wires going to it, an one with some larger ga like maybe 8ga wires with the 12ga wires as well. maybe tell me what the relay number is, if the two under there are different.

The tach wire is WHITE on the CS2400 main harness. For the VATS bypass you need to follow the small guage PURPLE wire to the relay and make sure that all the terminals have a wire connected to it.
