Hey everyone ...i tried searching but came up with no results..  I put a DEI 562T keyless/Remote start on an 03 Camry 4cyl. auto.  The car has no transponder and everything work beautifully except I cant get the anti-grind feature to work.  Im guessing it is due to the dual starter wires and i've already tried to relay them putting both keyside wires to 87a, engine side to 30, 87 unused, 85 tapped into 2nd ign, 86 to 12v.  Doesnt work.

The starter kill works fine.  Any answers are greatly appreciated.

Blake

Yeah, it wouldn't work if you wired 85 and 86 both to +12V. Wire 85 to ground when armed/orange wire main harness and 86 to true ignition.

Didnt work.  Now I have:

85 - ground when armed

86 - ignition

87a - both start wires (key sides)

30 - both start wires (engine sides)

this didnt work.  The car starts with the key but will no longer autostart.

Is the starter output from the RS connected to the engine side (30) of the anti-grind relay?  If not, that's likely your problem.

It's not connected to 30.  I had it as the input on 85 but that wasnt working.  So your saying put all three wires...both engine side start wires and the output from the RS to 30?
