2001 cavalier stereo Install

Alright thanks, i did find the switch i believe. Its a little button type thing thats at the bottom of the car on the corner kinda? It doesnt appear to stick or anything.

its on the inner front part of the door jam....they go open and quit working..... have the radio playing then cycle off ign and open the door, if they radio continues to play then push the switch in hard a few times or pull it outwards with your fingers to make a good connection... if the radio shuts off when you do this the switch is pooched and needs to be replaced.....

Will this affect the interior light as well? Since i noticed that is sparactic too.

Well I just finished my install of my after market stereo, It went perfect, No problems with the $20 wiring harness, Sound is awsome. I got a few tips with wiring to share I ran the Red acc. wire to the fuse panel in the wiper motor fuse, Now the stereo turns off with the key off. Otherwise installing the after market one in replace of stock, It went really easy. I just like to thank all you guys for youre help.
