type A- positive trigger, require ~200mA... some alarm can trigger the alarm w/o extra relays.
what kind of alarm?

i own a 99 suburban which is still old style with the newer interior and i found my factory keyless entry module above the gas pedal it is a small black box and the wire colors are still the same.  "type a" positive lt. blue for lock, and white for unlock.  on other chevy trucks that i have done installs on i found the same color wires low in the drivers kick panel there are a few harnesses in the kick just keep pulling them out of the hole in the metal till you see a harness with lt. blue, and white in it.  oh and your compustar 1 way will have no problem powering those wires without relays i use compustar also and they're great they supply 500 ma of current which is more than enough for your truck, just hook up the wires accordingly and hit the button, i believe compustar uses dual polarity door lock wires, so read the install manual and hook it up good luck, and have fun
