Hey guys I am requesting the assistance of the pros out there. I have 16 pioneer ts-w250r 10's.  they have a single voice coil, are 4ohms, have a rms of 120 and a max of 500w.  i have them in sets of 4. so 4 are in a box. i want to be able to put one amp for each box.(thats 4 10's to one amp). can you guys give me some good size amps that will power each set but not overload the speakers. thanks for your help.

Cadence ZRS-9. It can pull that load all day long. You can get 2 of them and get the bridge cable and get 4000 Wx1 @ 1 ohm RMS. Not bad. They are great amps.

You are obviously concerned about SPL over sound quality. For the most bang for the buck you'll want to look for class d mono blocks that are 1-ohm stable.
Here's a good value: http://www.memphiscaraudio.com/products/details.asp?cat=&id=98&p=2

The Cadence is a very large amp, but you'll only need two and you'll cut down on the space that you would need for 4, as well as the amperage and connections. You'll save more you'll find out. I know you can get 2 of them for a grand. Let me know, i have a friend who is a private professional dealer. PM me.

You are most likely gonna spend more on 4 medium amps than 2 large amps.

And DONT buy Visonik if you want it to last and sound decent.  The Memphis amp suggested above is a killer choice.

How much DO you want to spend?
