Hey,

I am installing an alarm system on my 96 neon, and im curious about a few things.

1. I have no power locks on my car, what to do with alarm wires?

2. Ths Relates to the first one, The Unlock/Lock wires and the - and + door switch, where do they go with no power locks and whats the difference. And to do with power unlock wire if i dont have one.

3. Finally theres 2 things, on is this site does not have the hazard lights description and my install guide has two white wires for it and does no say weither on is + or -  , ok and theres also a wire for Engine Cap, ?What the hell is that, the oil cap?

Someone please help it would be nice

1. dotn do anythign with them. put power locks in sometime so u use them.
2. door "switch" connect to the door, only 1 of them not both, in your case it be the negtive one. cut the postive one out.
3. depending on alarm one of the parking lights will go to postive or negtive and the other to the parkign light in the, soem alarms have to parkign lights wires right and left. what make and modle of alarm do u have.

If this is for Ignition Inhibit or "Kill"

Ignition Kill will not work on ALL vehicles.  U could send the wrong signal to computer and mess things up.

Starter Kill ( or Interrupt ) would be better.

SPDT Relay

1 or 2 amp Diode across PIN 86 & PIN 85 with stripe facing PIN 86

Cut Starter wire in half:

PIN 86 & 30  = Ignition switch half of cut wire

PIN 87a  = Starter side of cut wire
PIN 85 = Negative Output from Alarm while Armed

yes ignore the power lock wires.
yes install the one door switch, this will set off the alarm if door is open while the armed.
I dont know what the engine cap is and never heard of it. Dose it say were it connect too, or dose it have "any" other info. is ther a website form were you bought it, maybe they have the manurl up so i can see it.
Just skip that wire also, as long as the door, hood, and trunk is protected you should be fine. just tape the end of the wires your not useing so they cant touch anything by mistake.
