I love it when "the Boyz" start talking street sh!t about their systems like they know wtf they're talking about, and this old guy starts talking like we do here.  Their eyes get wide and they say uh what?  Normally they'll start peppering me with questions, which is cool.  I'll point out some presentation issues too...I'm not shy.  For the most part, even the guys who are big talkers REALLY want to know what they're talking about.  They just usually have complete newbie morons to brag to.

Well gang ive been away from the world of SPL for a while what is the world burp record now. I remeber seeing the Memphis van pull out 174.5 bout 4 yrs back. As far as that one guy using 3 Rockfords subs and a 3000bd amp running off 3 batteries and dual alternators. Not likely. When i last competed with 2 (12's) i used a 1000 watt amp and had the subs at 2 ohms each and had to use 5 red top batteries to power the thing along with the car runnning and i could only make a whimper of 145.7. I would say have that guy go to spring break nationals where the big dogs play. By the way you dont have to reinforce a winshiled with anything if you replace the glass with temper glass. However if i had something that rocked over 165 db i would take out all glass and seal that bad boy shut as one big box to tow to the line. ~mike
