Alright guys. This is my first alarm install. I have spent a lot of time searching on here, and on the net learning the ins and outs of installing alarms. The install is going great but I've come to a point where I have hit some confusion. Vehicle is a 2002 Dodge Ram Quad Cab. As of right now this is what i have done.

-all components mounted in their perspective locations. Brain, valet, led, hood switch, siren etc

-all wiring taped loomed and ran through the dash etc

at this point I'm starting to wire up the relays/resistors and diode isolate the door locks

1st Question-It is a single wire system so when i hook up the relays/resistors to the wire. when and where does the diode isolation come into play. At the individual door wires? At the one wire(WHITE/ grn)? Or both?

2nd Question-Do I have to use relays with all the heavy guage wiring going to the ingition column?

3rd -Do I need to use a relay/diode on the door trigger wire? As well as the domelight supervison?

Any info will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Sorry for all the rookie questionsViper 791xv, 2002 Dodge Ram -- posted image.

Power Lock WHITE/ green  -  driver kick panel
Notes: Lock requires a negative trigger thru a 820 ohm resistor. Unlock requires a negative trigger thru a 330 ohm resistor. MUST use relays.
Power Unlock same wire as power lock
Parking Lights- purple / YELLOW    headlight switch
Notes: Parking lights require a negative trigger thru a 330 or 1.4K ohm resistor. Headlights require a negative trigger thru a 1.8K ohm resistor. There is a rest resistance on the wire, so MUST use a relay to isolate away from the switch.
Door Trigger   -
Notes: The LF door trigger is tan, and the LR door is tan/orange or PURPLE / orange. These wires are in the driver kick panel. The RF door trigger is tan/red, and the RR door is tan / YELLOW. These wires are in the passenger kick panel. Use all wires and diode isolate each. See DirectFax document 1076 for wiring information.
Dome Supervision use door trigger
you need two relays for power locks, one for lock, one fro unlock whit the right resistense, you don't need diode for power locks. you need diodes for doors trigger and a relay to do a dome supervision, and another relay for parking lightsViper 791xv, 2002 Dodge Ram -- posted image.

Second Accessory blue & blk/wht  +  ignition harness
Notes: These wires may not be necessary for remote start.
if you want to power the second acc, you need another relay and shuld be powered by the small orange wire.

yes
Diode isolate all 4 doors from each other, with the bands facing the doors. You may have to use a realy due to Dodges pulsing after about 20min or so. The pulse isn't strong enough to pull in a realy contact, but is strong enough to false an alarm.

The truck starts but only stays up for about 3 secs. Do i need to hook up the key sense wire?

thanks ahead of time.

Key sense shouldn't be required you most likely are not energizing all the necessary ignition/accessory wires. What all do have powered up?

What about hooking up an Immobilizer Bypass? Did you get a good tach signal and learned the signal?

yeah i have the immobilizer hooked up correctly. I learned the tach and it did what it was supposed to. I have hooked up all 3 ign. and the 2 acc. wires w/ relays.....i will double check them. One more thing could it be because my "perform service" light comes on right now (i need to get it reset)?

What color is the head of your key?
How does the remote start work if you leave a key in the ignition?
