Infinity sub question

The infinity specs are conservative....I would increase the volume of your box. Model it up in WinISD or have someone on the forum do it...you would be surprised. I have experienced the same thing with my Perfect 12 SVC....I am only putting 200 watts to it, and I have it in the Infinity recommended 1 cubic foot box, and it does sound great, but it hasn't been all that loud (see some previous posts of mine on the subject). I am building a ported box to experiment with the sound. It isn't the sub though, it needs a little more power and a little more volume and I think it will be loud AND sound great like it does now.

Thanks, let me know  how the box affects it, I don't have any money for a new box as of now, due to basement remodeling, but will in the near future. So are you suggesting a ported or vented box, or just a bigger sealed?
