He forgot Zapco... But I have one question for you... Why? Even if it is capable of running with a half ohm load, the heat output is higher, the distortion is higher, the damping factor is lower, the efficiency is lower... All the bad things about amplifiers, just magnified... Why not get an amp rated at the desired power at 4 or at worst, 2 ohms? Your cost per watt will likely be lower, and the amp will run cooler and more efficiently. If you are looking to compete in something along the lines of SPL ONLY, in a 50 watt class, but you want 1000 watts worth of output, then go for it, but if you want ANY kind of sound quality, you are going at it the wrong way..
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Everything thanks for all of the help. Haemphyst to answer your question yes, it is for a friend that wants to do SPL. It is his daily driver so I will also have some relay's on it so that when the switches that control the relays are off the two subwoofers (in this case two Audiobahn 12" Pro Compressions) will be running in stereo and will be wired in series. Since it's his daily driver and he has a young child he wants this option so that he can still drive around with some moderately good sound and at the same time not make his child deaf. When both the switches are put on the subwoofers will be running mono and wired in parallel. These subwoofers are 1200 watts each rms and have dual 2 ohm voice coils. If you have any other ideas that might fit my friends bill then please put it on the board and let me know. Thanks.

US Amps is the best for a competition SPL amp, or MMATS. They'll build you a custom amp for your needs. If anyone can do it, they can! Some US Amps go down to .25 ohms!
