i would think that it would be the same way you wire in for a trunk pop or something isnt it just a neg pule tothe switch????

What kind of vehicle? How do the mirrors retract, reverse, switch, or other?

its on a 2004 tahoe z71.
you use the switch that controls the power mirros itself. when the switch is put in the middle you then hit either left or right and that opens and closes the mirrors.'
i thik it might just be a simple neg pulse in which case i can use one ch. and just keep hitting it and it will do what i want, but i want to see if any one had done it before
thanks

Start probing wires to see if it's a (+) or a (-) trigger and then attach a couple of relays to a latching relay to use only one AUX channel to open or close the mirrors.

Will the mirrors fold with the vehicle off?  I've seen some cars that the mirrors ONLY fold while the ignition is on.

If this is the case, worst case scenario, you could always 5 wire the actual motor that moves the mirros in and out.

If you can find a 'fold out' and a 'fold in' wire you can use one channel to control them both:

Pin85 - 12vdc

Pin86 - Negative when armed

Pin30 - Either + or -, whatever is needed to make the mirrors move, from your aux channel

Pin87A - Fold Out output

Pin 87 - Fold In Output

With this setup the state of your alarm will dictate what channel two does.  When the system is disarmed it will cause the mirrors to fold out, when it is armed it will cause the mirrors to fold in.
