y cant i wire it lke KPierson showed with one relay
that seems like asimple way to do it if its gonna work they way i want itto?

The relay diagram will work from KPierson. The way his works is that you have to have the system armed when connecting 87 to 30 and you have to have the system disarmed when connecting 87a  to 30. That is the only difference. The way that I have the diagram laid out is that you can use it whether or not the vehicle is armed or disarmed and also if you do not have a secondary AUX channel you can use a single AUX channel in conjunction with a latching ( flip flop ) relay to reverse the wires so that it will open and close the mirrors with one channel.

so if i do it KPierson way it will ony work when armed they will fold in and disarmed they will fold out..
thay fine i dont want to make it to involved with so many relays. im not going to be playing with it all the time .just sometimes i forget to fold them in anad then i have to go back and do it, so having it that way with just one relay is fine... as long as that way will work...

ok heres some info i found
now i thik im really stuck
"brown and grey wires at the mirror harness are the ones you need to tap into, they extend and retract by changing the polarity on these wires. I have no idea which is which, as I never got around to doing the conversion myself. You can probably find which is which with a multimeter on those two wires. "

If its a reverse polarity system you won't be able to 'tap' the wires.  You will have to cut them and install relays.  Depending on how the mirrors are wired you may get in to a complicated mess.  Some power mirror system motors do NOT rest at ground (like door lock systems).  If the wires don't rest at ground you'll have to switch both wires, (+) and (-), for both directions (4 relays).

Hi, first I just recently found these forums and have found them really useful. I have an '03 Silverado with the Matrix rsx3.5. I want to do this mod also, so I've been searching for wiring info so the members on here can better help. I think I've found the wiring info. Go to http://www.streetinspiredkustoms.com/ and click on
Technical Instructions, and then
Complete Turn Signal/Dim/Lamp/Heat Mirror Conversion from 03-04 to 99-02 Guide
and then
Drivers side (or other documents)
HTH and let me know if you can get it to work. I'm still learning about the wiring for relays etc.
This should be the wire colors for the mirror we have
