So far I just used rough measurements to get the volume in the ballpark. I am quite sure that I will have more than I need once I get finished so I will add some wood to the inside to get the volume back to where I want it. As for actually measuring the exact volume I am not sure yet as to what I will do. I may use packing peanuts or even fill it with water once its sealed good. I used WinISD to determine the port length and size.

What i do is wrap in it fleece once you get your design, ,then do the packing peanuts thing.....then build your port......re measure...then fiberglass.

Thats probably what I will do. I am definitely waiting until I know the volume before I add the ports.

how many ports are you using? running them right next to the front seats (between the door and seat) and moulding them so they look factory would look sweet

8thorder thats a good idea but I'm not going to do anything fancy with the ports. I am going to have two and about the only place I can easily put them is behind each side speaker pointing up towards the top. I got it skinned today and am starting to glass it now so I snapped a couple of pictures.

Coming along nicely, can't wait to see the finished project.
Why do you ask if I ate paint chips when I was younger?
