yea i checked with a dvo meter and all the hookups are good. i am almost positive its the amp. it couldtn be the electrical because i had used it for 2 days just fine and when i turn the stereo on. the amp pops when it turns on.
the guys from ike still havnt emailed me back about an exchange

what type of alternator and battery upgrade have you done to supply the current this amp requires?

i know for sure its not the alt or bat but here it is again. optima red top and stock alt. not the alt because it was supplying power just fine for like 2 days. does not work at low volumes. doesnt even turn on. it turns on then goes into protect RIGHT away

Bad amp or bad speaker(s) or bad speaker wire.  Did you try any of the suggested troubleshooting ideas already given you in this thread?

yes i tested everything its not the speakers i plugged in a friends amp temporarily and it worked fine. i know for sure its the amp. but ike sound wont email me back. i emailed the guy on there site that is in charge of the warranty and returns and no respond for like 2 weeks so far.

if that diagram is correct that you drew than chances are you cause the amp to fry and will happen again if you hook up another amp that way.

yea becuase i think that is a .5 ohm setup. but thats what the book said for a 1 ohm setup. what would a one ohm setup be?

yea but on the amp its got 2 + terminals and 2 - terminals.
and on the subs its got 4 terminals on each side of the sub.
