I have a customer who is interested in doing a remote starter/keyless in this vehicle, they want to know if there is any way to retain the transmitter priority like the factory remotes have, i.e. one remote has one presets for one driver likethe power seats, etc.. and another remote retains presets for the other driver. does anyone make anything that can interface and do this? I've never been asked this by a customer before so i have no idea. I believe trilogix makes a piece for chevy/gmc etc.. but ive never heard of anything for mitsubishi.

thanks !

Not positive, but I believe some of those vehicles can come with bronzed windshields. They will have a copper colored tint to them if they do. It can kill the range of the system...or at least it did on the Subaru SVX my shop did before.

mxxmikexx,  I cannot refer you to what you need exactly, but I believe there is a Clifford unit, or an add-on module for a clifford that will do what you need it to do.  The one from Trilogix claims that their modules only retain this for one driver, but they do not even have one for mitsubishi as far as I know. here is the diagram of the Clifford Intellipage, if I am way off about this, then Sorry, I really didn't look into this, I just knew I had seen something like what you ere talking about.  http://www.autoelectric.ru/autoalarm/clifford/intellipage/intellipage-m.htm

Notes:

NOTE: Some models have an immobilizer system that needs to be bypassed during remote start.  Use DEI module 555U to bypass.  *1 A single pulse unlocks just the drivers door, and a double pulse will unlock all of the doors.    *2 This is the trunk key cylinder wire, it is in the harness running to the rear of the vehicle. Metering by turning the key in the trunk.

Jeff is there any way to trigger the door locks without having to go into the door? What a pain in the *** it is to take the door apart to give 2 negative pulses. Any help would be appreciated.
