Yes the 90 accord ALT can be used and it gives 90 amps of out put instead of 70 and it is cheaper.
Here is a link on how to install it.

you can also fit a chevy small block alternator.. I e Large case delco with little modifications to the factory brackets and a diffrent belt.
But I will say this, with the KX1200.1 and any 4 channel the kinetik 2400 would power these without a problem and you would do fine on your factory alternator
My girlfriend has been running street setups in her honda civic for over a year with much more current draw then this off one 2400 with no problems or dimming, I am not trying to contridict the statements about alternators, All my street and comp vehicles have one large or multiple alternators.
The kinetik 2400 is a force to be reckoned with, if you havent tried one and can fit one, DO IT!

any large case alternator off a chevy V8 will do, they are typically all delco's      They are normally rated at 125-150amps but can be rebuild by any alternator shop to over 200 amps

I, for one, will never buy from alterstart again, ever. I bought mine, had to send it back, then wait forever for them to send it back. When I got it the second time the pulley was broke. I had all kinds of problems with them. When I finally got it the last time it still didn't work right. I ended up taking it to a local rebuild shop and they checked it and told me what was wrong with it. I ended up paying them to fix it and it has been fine ever since. I just can't promote people like that. On top of all the problems I had with them, they tried to talk trash to me , saying the problem wasn't theirs when they hadn't even checked it out.
