I have a matrix 1 alarm in my car. I would like to upgrade it for a two way system, sometimes I can't hear my alarm in my apparment complex. Is there a way I can just buy an alarm that would plug in the existing wiring pin from the matrix 1? I also have a viper 516R or 516T (I can remeber correctly) connected to the "validity" wire from the alarm so I would not need a brain with rs capabilities. I am just to plain lazy to re-wire everything, hahahaha.

Please help.

Anyone?  Maybe I should get the two way alarm(like a clifford) and then just cut the pin out of my old alarm and then cu tthe wires short on the new alarm pin and the just solder them together and then change the antenna. would this work?

yes as an ESP2 model it is Responder ready..... you need to simply buy the Responder upgrade kit and replace the antenna and remote.....

So what I understand is that I need to buy the responder and antenna for my Clifford matrix 1 and plug the antenna and it's done? no need to buy other brain for it?

What is ESP2 model? where could I buy the rersponder and antenna? is there a model number for it?
