Then buy it for $140. Don't complain if the remote stops working within a year and you have to buy a new one because you have no warranty.

Well I just got back from my local alarm and stereo shops to try to get a quote on how much will it cost me to add the two way system on my existing alarm and this is the results I got:

FIRST SHOP: (well recognize bationwide store) The "manager" explained to me that they charge $35 to "look" at my car and see what do I need to add the two way system. I told him that I needed just the antenna, antenna cable and LCD remote from a vyper, clifford or python alarm(since they are compatible with my Clifford matrix 1 alarm) and he said "well.....your alarm might have the antenna already and you just need the remote only, that way it will only cost you $70  for the remote, but if your system is not antenna ready, we will need to add that up and it will cost you $190 for everything, but again I will have to look at it and then give you a quote" My reaction to that was ARE YOU FAKIN CRAZY? They want to chargeme to "look" at my car and tell me what do I need? I am so angry at them right now. Also, he said my alarm might have the antenna for the two way system already, which made me doubt, my alarm came with a XHF antenna which looks like a little square with a thin antenna and then a triange/cone shape at the end with a tag that says "OK/3C" can this antenna be ready for the two way? or do I need another one?

SECOND STORE: (also well recognized nation wide) SOrry but we do not carry any DEI products.

THIRD STORE: We are currently out of stock of the remotes, maybe check with us next week and I might have them then. I told him if he can look at my car just to see if my antenna would work or I needed another one, to what he answered. "like I said, come back next week and we will see" So I got no help from him.

FOURTH STORE: I explained my situation and needs, ad he just said. We don't have anything like that in stock, you need to contact DEI directly and have them seel it to you. I know that DEI would not sell it to me since the only sell their products to authorized dealers.

So as you can see I am so upset and confused right now. How can I tell if my alarm antenna is going to work with the two way control remote? is there somthing in particular I need to look at?

Please help a The12volt frustrated member.

You need an antenna cable that looks like this:
Antenna
Your antenna cable needs to have 4 wires in it for it to work with a 2-way. If it is a 1-way antenna cable it will only have 3 wires.
Remote
Try searching google and eBay for "DEI 479V" or "DEI 479P" or "DEI 479C"
eBay auction

Is there someone here that would like to seel me a DEI two way antenna and the cable for it?

Local shops are not very helpful

maybe a clifford two way LCD remote too? model number 479C
Ok I have been contacted by a seller that wants $75 for the antenna and cable shipped to my house and if I get the remote aswell he wants $158, does this sound reasonable? or should I just keep looking?
Also, is this really going to work? I would really hate to buy everything and then find out my alarm does not work with it. My alarm is a Clifford Matrix 1 and I am trying to change it to a 2-way system by adding a 2-way antenna from clifford matrix rsx3.5 and the antenna cable from the same alarm and a new 479X lcd Clifford remote from the rsx3.5.
