Is your bypass powered all the time?  The car may be be reading the bypass and the key you are trying to start it with if your bypass is not active only during RS.

Tiburons don't need a bypass module.  Well the american ones don't.  The cantadian ones do.  I speak from experience have done more than a couple starters in tiburons.  For some reason they seem to be a popular car in this area.

on the viper their is a BLACK/ white wire witch is supposedly go to a switch then to ground. what i did i eliminated the switch as set it to ground. i have done that to my car and oner car the same type and model and had no problems. could it be that the location that attached this gound wire not be a proper ground? but that wouldnt make sence because the alarm/ r.s. works fine. i just vcant get the car to start with key.

by the way i still havent tried any of the above yet because this kids car is in NJ, and im in NY, about 2 hours away. so i still yet have to trouble shoot....
