Ya the upload is mine. I dunno why you can't connect, probably because I was paused for a minute there. Just let it run, and make sure your torrent client is setup properly with your router, etc.

It's been running for around 12 hours now. I'm only finished 10%. I'm using BitComet with a Linksys 4-Port Wired Router.

Any tips on how I can make it go faster?

Thanks.

I used to use bitcomet but then i switched to uTorrent and it seems to be much faster. However, the problem is that the unfinished files are incompatible so if you install utorrent, you'll have to restart the download from scratch.

More importantly though, are you using Upnp Port fowarding? If its enabled in your router and on BitComet it should speed things up considerably (assuming the seeders are providing enough upload bandwidth)...

Port Forwarding is enabled but I don't know what port numbers to enter into the ranges for BitComet. I'm now sitting at a whooping 15% completion. lol

BitComet should enter the number automatically... generally it will be the listening port that you see in one of the bitComet menus

Your biggest problem is probably that there are very few seeders. This cannot be helped. There are only a few people interested in this torrent.

Hey guy's, it's goin' to be a slow upload for a while. I can only spare around 150-175K and I'm upping to 4 people. Hopefully you guys will continue to seed after it's complete! I am still seeding the 50MT disks as well as the West Coast DVD of the 60MT. However, I have limited those to 25K each for the moment so that the East Coast DVD will have the most bandwidth. I will stop the West Coast 60MT as there are 3 other seeders I am connected to at the moment, that should give you guys a little more bandwidth. Please be patient I am only one man with 1 cable line!

Thanks man. I really appreciate it. My speed has increased a significant amount. I should be done the download in another day or so.

BTW, after I'm finished the downloads, how do I go about updating my AVIC-N2 with the N3 software? Do I ned the East and West Discs to do so? Because my West Disc will finish in an hour or so, just wondering if I can update it with the West Disc while the East is downloading. I don't use the West Disc at this time, only the East one.

Thanks.

When you pop in the 60MT DVD it automatically updates. It only takes like 3 or 4 minutes so you may as well wait until you download the East Disc.

(I'm not sure if using the West would be a problem... but i don't think it will be able to use the 40 or 50 series disc afterwards so don't install it until you know you have a working East 60MT disc.)

Thanks for the tips. The only way I know that my copy is working is when I pop it into the unit and see if it reads, right?

well after you burn it, just make sure the competer can open the DVD and you can see the files present.

But yea... you just have to pop it in and see... (deep breath, crossed fingers and all)
