I was referring to what KarTuneMan said.
Kjerry, remember how in the 90's you used to be able to call Clifford and actually talk to a live person within a couple of minutes or so? Quick answers and quick faxback? Can you get that now since DEI owns them?
I haven't installed or dealt with a Clifford product sice they were bought out so I don't know much about their design or reliability. They don't seem to be the same product to me anymore.

Compustar 2wss-as is the way to go, Ive installed many of these units and they are great. Make sure the installer gives you everything, from starter kill to door, trunk, and hood triggers, and the shock sensor. Ive seen many places install these alarms with just door trigger and shock sensor. If you want extra go with a motion dector.

Has anyone heard of "Mobile Guardian"? Supposedly this is better than getting lojack. This is the website if you want to compare them. http://www.mymobileguardian.com/

There is another glitch with clifford. When the company went to DEI the device that is used to reset the clifford plain view code was LOST. Weird...
