honestly if it is feasible for you to do, it is generally considered better to seperate the subs, for now Ill calculate it based on all four in the same enclosure

With all four subs in one enclosure it looks like the port will be 14L x 14H x 4W, that is tuned to 28 hz, I can easily raise the tuning frequency a tiny bit, but in my experience JL subs like to be tuned really really low for the best response, no entirely sure why.  Let me know if you need anything adjusted on that, l ike seperating the subs, or a round port, or different frequency etc...

Well I will go ahead and calculate it based on each sub getting 1/4 of that enclosure and its own port, looked to me like each sub is getting roughly 2.25 cubic feet, is that about what you got as well?

Ok so if each sub is seperated and is effectively in its own 2.25 cu ft enclosure, to get a 28hz port and a .10 vent mach you are going to be doing four seperate ports that are 4H x 3W x 15.5L.  The port sounded a little small to me, but that is what I got from winisd.  Hope this helps, let me know if you need anything.

+: Easier to build chamber that allows for a more unique design to be made. Creates a louder booming sound if built properly. Faster construction.

-: Loose vibrations and sound waves from indivual speakers will phase each other out causing distortions and loss of sound. Risk of speakers working against each other to cause flutter from the spiders. Proper tuning requires phase timing of the speakers to get best sound.
