The average HU is capable of about 600 miliamps.  The average amp draws about 250 miliamps.  So 2 amps should be the most ran off the HU without the use of a relay.

There are 3 kinds of people in the world, those who can count and those who can't

^Thats very good information to know. The setup I have currently is CDA-9827 HU with Alpine T220 and MTX202 amps.. I'm guessing thats ok or within that miliamp range. I've read a bunch on bcae1.com but it didn't really talk about splitting remote turn-on leads to multiple amps. Do you know of a better information website about that stuff?
