Hello,

I picked up a used vehicle that has a Magicar 8100 remote start alarm installed. Although the install looks like a rats-nest of wires, it works fine.

I plan on tidying up the install and also add a couple of features to it BUT I CANNOT FIND ANY INSTALL INFO FOR THE ALARM.

I have everything needed for the vehicle, but nothing on the alarm. What I am specificly looking for is if this alarm has domelight surveilence/courtesy. (domelight turns on when you disarm)

If anyone has this info, could you please pass it to me?

I'd greatly appreciate it.

Have you looked to see if the CPU has the wiring information embossed on the back ?

I wish it had the info on the back, unfortunately, it doesn't.

I've already looked under compustar, but no luck. There is a section that is only for authorized dealers that I cannot access.

But after going through the wiring and by process of elimination, there is only  three  wires that I cannot figure out their purpose. From the looks of it, this model doesn't have domelight surveilance. (sigh)

I have the wiring info. You are correct- no domelight supervision output.
