Regardless of what someone "thinks", db is what does the talking....

I've said this in many other threads and this thread is no different. It's all in the setup! The brand doesn't matter if the setup is wrong. To say that one brand is better or louder than another is just rediculous. If you want to believe what MTX says, then so be it. If your not a believer, then that's cool too. I say everyone should stop arguing about the brand thing, and just enjoy music.

For honomichl - You know what you need to do? Whenever you hear or read something like that, you should just get on the freeway, blast your Kicker subs and just laugh! what is up with mtx. - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.

Subs are like anything else in the world, everybody wants u to think they have the best, but in reality its all about what u want, personally I have 2 12'' L7s in my car and I think they are awesome, but a friend of mine has 2 12'' 9500s in his and he think his is better. Point being it doesn't matter what the companys think just what YOU think.

Yes, but the trick is to determine which brand fits your needs better.  Every brand designs their subs for different goals.  If you want a loud sub, then the L7 or MTX subs might be a good choice.  But if you are looking for something with really good deep bass extention then definitely look else where.  The high Q on those subs work great for peaked responses, but deny any low end extention in a decent sized enclosure.
