Sounds good to me, why would you want everyone else to hear your music. Also that is free adverisment for poeople to steal it. If you want poeple hear what you are listening buy a bull horn and put it on the top of your car.

Yeah, you're going deaf.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

If your satisfied with how it sounds on the inside of the car, then that's all that matters. Who cares what it sounds like on the outside! Most states have laws prohibiting excessive noise anyway, so that's not a weird thing, it's a good thing.

Hey c'mon guys give him a break! Maybe he likes to get noticed especially in the summertime when all the chicks are out and about you know! Nothing wrong with that or maybe its hearing all these other cars that sound loud from outside and wondering why yours doesnt. I am just trying to see where the guy is coming from - we all have our differences when it comes to big sound!

BTW, I do have some advice for you. I have a 1993 Civic LX sedan (highly modified and customised) - I can hear my bass very loud and clear outside. My setup is a sealed box with two cheap 12s and a Directed Audio 5 Ch Amp running everything. BUT I did cut a two big rectangular holes in the metal under the rear deck / baffle (where your rear speakers go). I noticed it sounded more louder inside the car and outside as well.

One thing you can try also, is drop the back seats down and see how it sounds outside.

as the driver of a not so flash car, i am with pcguy706 on this one, instead of poppin the hood for people i pop the boot to show of my audio installs (my engine isnt very desirable) so hearing bass outside the car is good, but you must boom responsibly
