Ok this one makes me think, The system is fine, but the 2 way remote restes itself at least 5 times a day, im thinking it could be the battery, but if it was low it would not start the truck. Any help would be appreciated. THe remote is kept in the plastic holder and is not in bad shape.

Try replacing the battery. I had this happen to a customer's remote the other day and I replaced the battery and it was fine afterwards.
