Hook up the following wires ( any other way will make the Aladdin shutdown the car within 2 seconds of disarm ):

  • Aladdin Color( P6 )  :   Civic Color
  • Red      :      WHITE wire
  • RED / White     :     WHITE wire
  • White     :     BLACK /WHITE
  • YELLOW   :  BLACK / YELLOW
  • Blue     :     YELLOW ( ALSO CONNECT THE P10 WIRE HERE )
  • Black   :      GROUND

I can't really tell you more clearly on how to wire this up other than this !! Wire it up as I have above and bypass the clutch activation.

Clutch Bypass Diagram

<>

On most vehicles that have manual transmissions, the clutch must first be depressed in order to start the vehicle. This ensures that the unit does not attempt to start the vehicle while the transmission is in gear. When installing a remote car starter that is designed for manual transmissions, you will need to bypass the clutch pedal if it must first be depressed when starting the vehicle with the key.

There are two types of starting systems on manual transmission vehicles that require the clutch pedal to be depressed before starting. The first is simple and very easily bypassed. This type of system simply runs the start wire from the key switch to a open-close switch at the back of the clutch pedal.

<>

Caution! Ensure vehicle is in neutral and that the emergency brake is set before testing wires at the clutch pedal!

<>

To identify if this is the system used on your vehicle, you will need to find the switch located on the back or top of the clutch pedal. On the switch you will find two wires. (Note on vehicles that have cruise control, there will probably be two switches on the clutch pedal. Use only the one that acts as described in this paragraph.) One of the wires will measure +12 volts only when the key is in the "start" position. The second wire will measure +12 volts when the clutch is depressed and the key is in the "start" position. Use the diagram above if this is the type of clutch system the vehicle employs.

i don't really understand your directions. alright one of the wires will measure +12 volts when the key is in start and the other wire will measure12+ volts when the key is in start and the clutch is pressed. so which wire would i hook up the clutch bypass wire( the one that has 12+volts in start or 12+volts in start and clutch pressed down) and what what wire from the alarm.

If the wire is a (+) use the WHITE P9 wire and reverse the polarity of the wire by using the diagram 4 on page 19 of the installation manual. Pin 30 will go to the target wire that you find on the Civic. If it does not have cruise you will only have one switch. If the wire is a (-) wire, then wire the P9 WHITE wire straight to the target wire.

The second wire will measure +12 volts when the clutch is depressed and the key is in the "start" position

The above statement pretty much sums up the characteristics of the target wire. Use this wire.

Use your DMM to find this out.
