tell me if i'm wrong or right. if the wire shows 12+ vlots(when clutch is depressed and key is in start) then that means i have to use a realy to change polarity of the white wire on the p9 harness. and if the wire was to show 12- volts then that means i hook up the p9 wire straight to it or vice versa.

alright i went outside and i saw a black wire with silver dots and ablue/blk wire with silver dots. these were the wires. what was funny was hen i was checking the blu/black wire. i put the test light to the wire and i put the key in start and the car started up without pressing the clutch. is this the wire thats supposed to have the p9 white wie hooked up to it. i guessed it started up because i grounded it. does this mean that all i have to do now is hook up the wire on the p9 harness or do i have to turn it to a positive charge with a erlay. i tried to hook up the white wire to the blu/blk wire, but nothing happened. then i disconnected the white wire and took the blu/blk clutch wire and grounded it and the car started up with the remote start, the i went back in the car took the blu/blk where i grouded it from and hokoed up the white p9 wire and tried to remote start it and nothing happened. (remember every time i opened the door i re-did the remote start procedure). let me know what to do from now.

i tried all four different ways and nothig happened. i tried the blu/blk wire with the p9 wire giving a - source and nothing happened, then i tried the black wire with the - p9 wire and nothing hapened. then i hooked up the relay and tried both wires again and still nothing happened. then i took a wire with a aligator clip at the end and connected the aligator clip to the blu/blk wire and squeezed it so it can make contact with the wire and grounded the wire and tired the remote start and it work perfect. the only problem is now you don't have to even press the clutch to start the car. have you ever installed a aladdin 2000 remote with remote start ina civic and if so how did you hook up the clutch bypass? was the clutch target wire - or+ and what color was it?

Check the programming instructions. It tells you all this information there on how to program the P9 wire and also the HVAC control timer is defaulted at 5 minutes after start up. You will need to change that to 0 seconds after start.

alright i just programmed it to use the white p9 as a start assist wire and everything is working fine and i also programmed the time for heater/a/c. there only one thing though and that is the heater comes on and off. like it'll come on for 2-3 secs then go off and come back on. is this normal. but other than that its working perfect. thanks for all the info and for your time.

Are you sure you used the right wire for the HVAC from the alarm ? It sounds like you attached the light output wire to the HVAC wire ? Check the BLUE wire on the P6 harness and make sure that the voltage is a consistent 12 volts.
