i am looking for a sub for my car and i want to buy one 12 or 10 inch sub that will sound real good in a sealed enclosure. can any one recommend a brand of subs or a specific sub that sounds very good in a sealed enclosure?

I had two MTX 5000's 10" subs In my old Contour. They sounded great. Nice tight bass response.

Time to start listening to some subs, I might steer you in the direction of Image Dynamics to start.

I agree, they are a great sub, same with the Eclipse aluminum cone series.

I use plenty of Diamond stuff, all good quality.

i have a 93 honda prelude. it has a sealed trunk by is not very large. i am choosing between two tens or one twelve. what would you guys recommend?

It all depends on your budget, your amp and how much room in the trunk you can afford to give up. Two tens will give more output than one twelve if thats what you are after. If you already have an amp than that has to factor into the decision. Your amp has to be able to handle the load one or two subs give to it.

im starting fresh. and money isnt an issue. ill give up enough space for either two tens or one twelve. which would be the best all around system?
